The Howard Smith Paper Graphic Design and Print Awards 01 – 2007

Winner - National Portrait Gallery/Shooting Stars: The Portraits Of Cornel Lucas (Fine Art)
Nominated - BAFTA & Magnum Photos/Eve & Marilyn: Portraits Of Marilyn Monroe By Eve Arnold (Fine Art)
Nominated - CBI Conference & Deloitte/Heads Of Business: Portraits By Harry Borden (Fine Art)

Judges Comment: In what turned out to be an excellent category, four pieces made the final table. Heads Of Business and the Eve & Marilyn piece were close to winning. However, after much consideration the judges agreed that due to the high quality of printing, consistency of solids and excellent binding, the 'Cornel Lucas' book just prevailed. We would like to make a special mention for the three other finalists who, on any other day, may have won. Peter Hayden. St Ives Westerham Press
