Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

This new exhibition at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art – May 4, 2011–July 31, 2011 – will celebrate the late Alexander McQueen’s extraordinary contributions to fashion.

Approximately one hundred examples will be on view, from his postgraduate collection of 1992 to his final runway presentation which took place after his death in February 2010.


The Met’s exhibition catalogue (cover pictured here) is an appropriately striking publication, casebound, with a fabulous hologram skull image adhered to the cover.
