Lee Jeffries hails from Manchester, where his story as a photographer of the homeless began – his work is gripping, fantastic, dripping with emotion.
As a character in a certain book once said, “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view . . . until you climb into his skin and walk around in it,” and for me these images come about as close to that sentiment as possible through photography.
