Michael Kenna: Black and White Photography

Some dramatic photography by Michael Kenna.

Born in 1953, he is originally from Lancashire, but now lives in Washington, USA. He has travelled to many countries, which categorise the work showcased on his website. Here are just a few images from his travels… but do have a look at more of him images because they are beautifully composed, often quite minimal but with a great sense of scale and space.
