Artists Ryuta Iida and Yoshihisa Tanaka collaborate to create time lapse portraits.
You may think that these images have been created from a reprinted single photograph of the person. However the portraits are actually photographs taken over a period of three minutes whilst the person tries to sit still. But to stay perfectly still is impossible as our center of gravity shifts and our muscles are tense. The portraits are actually a layered lime-lapse of the subjects life over several minutes.
