The images shown here detail the graphic design and intriguing pattern-making for the album cover for the modern classical composer Allan Gravgaard Madsen. The album doesn’t have an A or B side, each side contains a piece of Allan’s work; Waves and Crystal Tapestry.
Each has its own front page:
Waves is a visualisation of the music performed by nine trumpets in a line, with the graphics simply illustrated with nine circles on a line.
Crystal Tapestry is a pattern of crystals that has no beginning or end.
The inner sleeve comprises a design that combines the two sides, a crystalized wave.
The vinyl itself also offers these patterns endowing the whole of the design with a graphic sensuality.
