Bubblegum

For me, its all about colour at the moment (though I’m a bit fickle – as it was all things floral a few months ago!).

Anyway,  this colourful art installation ‘Bubblegum‘, by Merijn Hos and Renée Reijnders caught my eye – the piece features 50 balloons around one metre in diameter that “shine, float and bubble” across the large water expanse Weerwater in Almere, Netherlands. At night, LED lights are inserted into the balloons to create a magical hue-filled glow highlighting the balloons as they dance across the water…
