— St Pancras Penthouse

I was across at St Pancras yesterday and it’s clear that it’s one of London’s most happening places.

St Martin’s have recently moved there (the college that gave us Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Katherine Hammett… …and me) and Google’s new European headquarters has just broken ground with its own new development – and if you’re looking for somewhere to live there, then check out this:

TG-Studio have just transformed the three bedroom penthouse in the famous St Pancras Chambers. The apartment is one of three available penthouses in the 52 unit development, covering the top three floors of the landmark’s west tower. Due to the building’s grade 1 listing status, the floor plan had to be broadly maintained but all staircases, balustrading and partitioning, where possible, were replaced.

Inside you’ll find a top floor master bedroom (which is open plan but can be made private with an electrically operated curtain) with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with extra-large shower and flush TV. The middle and lower floor are occupied by two levels of entertaining (complete with collector’s item pool table), with a new oak staircase connecting them. From the entertaining area you have access to two bedrooms with a dressing area and an en suite each. The two en suite bathrooms are located in two gothic towers of the building which gives them great views of the surrounding area and a triple ceiling height.
