— The Ufogel

Located amongst the lush rolling hills of East Tyrol in Austria, The Ufogel is an extraordinary small home made almost entirely out of larch wood. Measuring just 45 square meters, the multi-functional living space includes a carefully designed kitchen unit, a table which can fit up to 8 people, WC, and designer shower, all of which features underfloor heating.

While the space is by no means cramped, large windows help to open up the area, bringing the nature indoors with you while the curved timber structure covered with traditional shingles creates a feeling of warmth and security.

Upstairs there is a spacious double bed in pine and another separate bunk bed and an open glass cabinet which provided sufficient space for luggage.
