Diana Beltran Herrera is a Colombian designer and artist who creates beautiful and technically brilliant things with paper.
Although Diana has a university degree in industrial design, from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, completed in 2010, she has pursued an interest in paper sculpture since graduating. Her passion and focus is to try and repair the disconnect between humans and nature through her work. She creates sculptural representations that don’t suffer change, and remain in an ideal state.
Herrera has exhibited at solo and group shows in Europe, Asia and the USA. She is currently living in Bristol, where she is studying a MA in Fine Arts at the University of the West of England. Recent commissions includes a piece for the Festival of ideas (program developed by Bristol City Council), and an upcoming solo exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia supported by the Embassy of Colombia in Indonesia and Cancilleria de Colombia en el.
