Being the mother of a 1 year old girl myself, I thought it was special to learn that the famous Dutch furniture designer Gerrit Rietveld spent his time not only designing for clients but also for his own and other children.
This great exhibition at the National Gallery presents a thematic look at the gallery’s own collection of Italian Christian altarpieces and their like, from the earliest of 1263 to the end of the 15th century.
Some really lovely and colorful advertisements but also more serious warning messages printed on matchboxes designed across Europe, mid-1900s.
What a brilliant chair! I couldn’t resist looking through the entire collection of Jimmie Martin and just love the extraordinary designs.
