de Gournay is a UK based company specialising in handpainted wallpaper, fabrics, furniture and porcelain, inspired by the finest interiors from around the world and still following the tradition dating back to the 17th century.
Every now and again there’s a catwalk show showcasing a label’s latest designs that’s quite simply beyond beautiful; breathtaking even.
Curated in collaboration with Ai Weiwei from his studio in Beijing, the Royal Academy of Arts presents some of the artists most important works from the time he returned to China from the US in 1993 right up to present day. The exhibition is open in London until 13th December.
