I more and more like the work of this photographer with each new essay I see.
I am usually fascinated with new portraits of Jessica Chasten and often similarly interested in new photography by Steven Klein. These portraits though for W magazine’s November 2015 issue are perhaps an example of trying too hard for too little effect.
…I kinda like this one though.

With a super-strong set of features, a ferocious glare and a face that rarely breaks into a smile, Lisa Verberght is the epitome of eerie-cool, her intensity a perfect match for the kind of fashion one would describe as unusual, sometimes a little bit weird, other times just different.
If you’ve been keeping up with the coverage of the fashion weeks, you’d have noticed the wide eyes, pouty lips, and curvaceous body of Gigi Hadid gracing numerous runways. But if you’ve noticed that Hadid’s figure isn’t quite as slim and straight as the other models, you’re not the only one: Hadid has been racking up plenty of criticism on her Instagram account for her curvy shape. But then, with 6.5 million followers, there was always going to be some haters.
