As part of renovation work, a 112-year-old exterior of the Provo Tabernacle in Provo, Utah, has been amazingly raised up 40 feet in the air using hundreds of stilts and intricate scaffolding work.

The church was initially damaged in a 2010 fire, and has now been saved by engineers who gutted the damaged interior, and then went about supporting the 3,500 ton exterior to allow them to dig down for a two storey basement (so in actual fact the building itself hasn’t moved an inch).
