I’m posting this just because I find the film poster graphics clean(!) and engaging.
…the film’s an odd one, it was made two years ago and Maggie Cheung was recognised with the Best Actress Award at Cannes, but the movie has still not yet been granted a release date. (I’ve seen it and it’s very very good).
Strong design for the movie poster for this new movie.
When I first saw this fabulous ‘lookout’ offering stunning views across Norway’s Aurland region, it literally took my breath away.
Pancracio’s delectable chocolates are sold at Europe’s coolest concept stores. I like the treat itself, and I like the packaging too.
The first graphic novel to win a major British literary award – the Guardian First Book Award in 2001 – this book by Chris Ware is beautiful (both to look at and read) and poignant.
I have just found this photograph of what is clearly a young Moira Shearer – I don’t know who the photographer is, but think the image lovely.
The English Group has recently completed a book of the celebrated British movie star portrait photographer Cornel Lucas’s work, and as he was the stills photographer on Powell and Pressburger’s ‘The Red Shoes’, we had to edit many other images of Shearer that he had shot in 1947 to promote the film.
