— As the latest in an increasing stunning portfolio of projects for this client, we feel honoured to have been asked to design a commemorative brochure to celebrate The Rumi Foundation's partnership with President Bill Clinton to detail the focus towards good causes projects wherin their combined influence and funding might make the difference.
— The latest in a long line of promotional literature for London's top hotels, this sumptuous brochure has been produced to assist London's The Langham hotel to market its collection of luxury suites and, alongside, also details the hotel's rich heritage with a glimpse of its archive of imagery. The brochure boasts a beautiful embossed and foil-blocked cover.
— A fabulous monograph produced to accompany celebrated UK portraitist Jonathan Yeo's latest exhibition. This book has a padded casebound cover and a soft-touch lamination, making the publication feel eerily akin to skin; but strangely appropriate considering the exhibition is entirely focused towards cosmetic surgery.
— This Kenya-based luxury air charter client required a Limited Edition book to both detail its services and to offer its clients a beautiful portfolio of photography of the landscapes, flora and fauna that they could be given access to. The book's binding is coarse cloth, itself reflecting an appropriate sense of place.
— A fine art monograph produced for the Magnum Photos agency to accompany an exhibition of the legendary photographer Eve Arnold's previously unpublished portraits of Marilyn Monroe at the British Academy of Film & Television Arts private member's club in Piccadilly, London.
— A commemorative book, presented to the King of Morocco upon commencement of work on the Jawhar Estate, Marrakech, which will encompass a luxury hotel, residences, spa, gallery and museum. The oversized 440mm x 330mm book was limited to just ten copies.
— A website to profile the founder and Trustees of this charity foundation which is focussed towards supporting various humanitarian projects in India, Africa and South America. The emphasis was on clean elegant design and an uncluttered delivery of information.
— Two of three brochures for the former European Museum Of the Year Award winning SS Great Britain, produced to market weddings and Christmas events at the most unique of venues. For The English Group, the project was a joy and involved beautiful illustrations (produced inhouse) and bespoke print finishing techniques.
— An appropriately upscale - and elegantly understated - portfolio brochure showcasing this luxury property refurbishment and restoration business's projects in the West End of London. The cloth covered casebound brochure details both beautiful photography of the completed projects alongside before and after images of the work.
— Design and artworking of layouts for Karen Ruimy's latest book of spiritual sayings. The project involved elegant typography, the design of bespoke illustrative typefaces and analogue double exposure photography, all working together to especially pleasing effect. The casebound book was published by Quartet in the UK.
— A project to produce a limited number of exceptionally high quality copies of an album of photographs capturing Mr Verjee's CBE ceremony and the party afterwards hosted by the Aga Khan. The 96pp perfect-bound book is housed within a wrap-around soft leather cover.
— Branding and a brochure to support the launch of Annie Lennox's SING Campaign, raising the profile of women and children with AIDS in South Africa. The SING Campaign brochure is presented in a wallet folder, and includes a CD recording of Annie&'39;s promotional single 'SING'.
— A website to showcase this building and refurbishment company's portfolio of projects along with a comprehensive detailing of their platform of services. OLF primarily specialise in the construction and maintenance of exclusive London homes.
— A commemorative Limited Edition case-bound book featuring photographer Harry Borden's portraits of 'Heads Of Business'of the UK's leading companies. The volume, produced in partnership with the National Portrait Gallery and sponsors Deloitte, has a padded velvet cover and is housed in a foil-blocked clamshell box.
— The English Group's own vanity project produced to showcase the agency's more academic approach to graphic design, and what might be achieved when compromises to do with budget, timescale, and client's commercial requirements are removed from the mix. This publication went on to win many creative industry awards.
— The third of a series of lookbook brochures for UK fashion label Darling. The design intent has been to reflect the uniquely English feel that the brand aspires to reflect, and to achieve an increasingly recognisable narrative through the use of visually consistent photography.
— A fund-raising appeal brochure for the charity's new Headquarters building in Bristol. Endorsed by HRH Prince Charles; this publication was designed, artwork and print produced in under a week. The main brochure was assembled by hand, and was accompanied by a hand-sewn portfolio of Don McCullin's landscape photography.
— A comprehensive project to create new branding, content managed website and corporate brochure for this highly regarded business specialising in the design and build of luxury green oak timber framed houses. In addition, The English Group has also implemented a highly successful visual blog within the new website.
— Case-bound and soft-cover perfect-bound editions of a large format publication produced to accompany two exhibitions of Bryan Adams' photographic essay profiling portraits of some of the most inspiring women in Britain. BlackBerry were the sponsors and the images were exhibited at the UK's National Portrait Gallery.
— Beautifully detailed design (along with other launch and brand promotional items) for this new retail business based in London's Royal Exchange. Print of this project is altogether indulgent with offline machine varnish on all pages, glascine interleaves, and the brochure itself housed within a bespoke brown paper bag.
— An elegant brochure produced to showcase the GRACE Hotels Group's wonderful collection of boutique hotels on Santorini, Mykonos and Kea in the Greek Islands, Argentina, Panama, in the US, and Beijing. (The brochure was accompanied by a suite of six 4pp individual hotel profile brochures).
— A second edition of The English Group's own vanity publishing project which is again produced to showcase the agency's more academic approach to graphic design and - as with its predecessor, 'Printed Matter' - this publication went on to win a number of creative industry awards.
— An exquisite casebound catalogue/book produced for a private client and with a Foreword by Christies, to showcase the sale of a significant collection of antique glass. The book is litho printed and case-bound with padded case-boards, has round-cornered pages, a mix of paper stocks, and is housed within a clamshell box.

— A fund-raising appeal publication designed to detail issues of deforestation, or logging, of Europe's last remaining old growth forests in the Carpathian mountains of Romania. The brochure also offers a wonderful portfolio of photography of the region and was part sponsored by The European Nature Trust.
— Design and implemetation of a new website for a charity focussed towards issues of gender inequality, that The English Group's founder, Marc Carter, is a Trustee of — along with broadcaster Mariella Frostrup, human rights lawyer Jason McCue, and philanthropist Karen Ruimy.
— An unusual brochure in that it shows none of this client's products, but sets out to explain the extent to which well designed office space can increase staff performance and improve the atmosphere within which employees work. All of the illustrations within this brochure were produced in-house at The English Group.
— A brochure designed to launch a new hedge fund or alternative investment business for one of The English Group's existing private equity sector clients. The funds detailed are focused towards real estate investment opportunities and the design is complemented by Stuart Redler's architectural photography.
— To accompany The English Group's corporate identity and Limited Edition book design for this Kenya based client, the agency has now also designed a fully content-managed website and a especially visual blog within the site. The English Group also assumes the role of Editor for the blog.

This version of the book was produced to accompany a celebratory dinner for international dignitaries to announce the next stage of the project.
