Having attracted four Consort Royal Awards in the summer - including a Gold for Best Regional Agency - e-Mission (The English Group) is now equally proud that Printed Matter has been recognised with a Gold Award in the 2002 Premier Papers Awards.

Printed Matter has been commenced with the intention of it becoming a regular publication illustrating excellence in every aspect of the design/print process. The first issue explores graphic design’s ability to give life to even the most unexpected of subjects through judicious application of considered repro and ink-on-paper expertise.

Many of the initial recipients of the brochure have commented on its stunning photography. Actually, Printed Matter doesn’t feature any photography at all. All the images have been scanned directly from the insects themselves and then further manipulated Photoshop. In addition, the images have been given even more life as a result of the addition of special inks and varnishes on press.
