15/02/04   PROJECT UPDATE:   THE ORANGE BAFTA FILM AWARDS IN 2004

Sunday 15th February is the night of the Orange British Academy Film Awards in 2004. This year, The English Group have created the suite of graphic design and web based collaterals that accompany the event. This includes two versions of a 296 page Film Awards publication, the Nominations brochure, the dedicated Film Awards website, and a B1 Limited Edition poster to commemorate this year’s activities.

The opportunities within the project to liaise with some acclaimed names from every aspect of cinema has been an especially thrilling bonus. Highlights included photographic shoots on the set of Kevin Spacey's new film in Berlin, the make up team from Lord Of The Rings, the actors and directors such as Peter Mullan and Michael Winterbottom. The English Group's Rachel al-Habib managed this area of the project and worked hand in hand with photographer McVirn Etienne to create all of the original imagery.

This is the first year that BAFTA have managed the project from within their own in-house resources and at The English Group, we are not only proud to have been awarded the contract for this work, but overjoyed at the degree of trust that BAFTA have invested in us at every stage and to enable us in achieving our goals.
