THE ENGLISH GROUP: PROJECT UPDATES
21/10/04 PROJECT UPDATE: JUDGEDAY LIMITED
Judgeday, headed by David Taraskevics, is a truly fascinating business. With a resumé that includes many of the most significant events in the history of popular music, Judgeday has a track record that is wholly unparalleled.
For example, Judgeday has just completed the management of Peter Gabriel’s Growing Up World Tour which spanned the whole of 2003 and 2004. Prior to that, David was instrumental in the development of Amnesty International’s Conspiracy Of Hope Tour which included artists such as U2, The Police, Madonna and Peter Gabriel, and the subsequent Human Rights Now! tour. David was also a key organiser of the Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Concert at Wembley which enjoyed a global TV audience of over 1 billion. Nowadays, Judgeday still organises festivals and tours, but is also renowned for state-of-the-art pyrotechnic displays, artist and back catalogue management, and consultancy on a number of issues within the broader music industry.
The English Group was charged to encapsulate this unique proposition into equally memorable communication collaterals. As well as new branding for the business, the agency has also completed a website and one of its most rewarding brochure designs. The brochure has been tasked to impose absolute ownership of that most valuable of all real estate – the prospective client’s desk. To that end, this brochure is the largest publication the agency has yet produced – a stunning 680mm x 480mm finished size (680mm x 920mm when open).
