Design Week Hot 50

“...those who made it through the rigorous selection process .. earned their place through a contribution they have made to design over the last 12 months, as designers, artists, clients, ‘politicians’ or educationalists.”

Each year, Design Week magazine – the publication responsible for keeping its’ finger on the pulse of who’s who and what’s what within the creative industries – publishes two key surveys focssing upon the state of the design industry. The first measures all of the critical business benchmarks (growth, turnover, profitability etc.) and the second, the ‘HOT 50’, offers opinion on organisations, individuals or businesses who have particularly informed design in the UK over the course of the last year.

The English Group is especially proud to have been included in this years list, in the company of organisations and businesses such as the Apple Computer design team, the Audi Design Foundation, John Barnard of Ferrari Formula One, the Design Museum, Sir Christopher Frayling of the Arts Council, the Royal Mail, the V&A and Virgin.

Within the survey, Design Week has acknowledged the English Group’s boutique status and its commitment to attention to detail, intelligence and ambition. These core values will continue to inform the agency's approach to design and creative solutions to its clients communications issues or brand presence.
