THE ENGLISH GROUP: PROJECT UPDATES

25/05/05   NEWS UPDATE:   CONSORT ROYAL AWARDS 2005

The 2005 Consort Royal Design and Print Awards were held this year on Thursday 19th May at the Guinness Storehouse Museum in Dublin. Four members of The English Group attended the event along with representatives of both the agency's clients and suppliers. Projects produced by The English Group received a total of seven awards including an award for Best Regional Agency for a brochure produced for Judgeday Limited, Peter Gabriel’s tour management company. The other six awards were divided equally, three for design excellence and and three for print excellence.

The client projects recognised included publications and ticket designs for the British Academy of Film & Television Arts, brochures for Herman Miller and Judgeday Limited, and a self initiated project, Press Book (which received two awards). All of these clients have indicated their desire to push the boundaries of graphic design along with a desire to achieve definitive design and print solutions.
