THE ENGLISH GROUP: PROJECT UPDATES

21/03/06   PROJECT UPDATE:   LONDON FASHION WEEK

Robert Cary-Williams Invitation - click to view larger Robert Cary-Williams Look Book - click to view larger

Fashion designer Robert Cary-Williams opened this year's London Fashion Week and selected The English Group to oversee all design support. The whole process of commissioning, design approval, photography and print was facilitated within just a five day period. This involved the creation of an invitation for the show (which was designed as a 970mm x 630mm poster and then folded down to 195mm x 210mm for posting) and a 'look book' of all of Robert's Autumn/Winter designs. Both the invitation and the look book have been printed on Howard Smith Paper Group's new Think4 range of paper materials.

The 2006 Robert Cary-Williams Autumn/Winter shows were held at both the Natural History Museum/London Fashion Week campus on Monday 13th February and again at the Philip Stark Cumberland Hotel on Tuesday 14th. Graphics created by The English Group were projected wall size throughout the Cumberland on the day of the show.

Robert's designs were well received throughout the British press and images of Lily Cole modelling highlights of this season's designs featured on the front pages of many newspapers.
