14/05/09   PROJECT UPDATE:   NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY 'PORTRAIT GALA'

The English Group's latest project with the NPG has been to design all promotional and marketing materials for a project created to raise funds for the Gallery's mix of educational programmes. Alongside the '2009 Portrait Gala', The English Group's founder, Marc Carter, was proud to have been invited to join the National Portrait Gallery's Executive Committee.

The March 3rd event, which was an auction and dinner at the Gallery for 400 guests, was to prove a resounding success. The evening's auction, which included donations from celebrated photographer David Bailey and artists Julian Opie and Jonathan Yeo, raised almost £190,000 for its respective projects. Alongside Marc's contributions to the project planning, The English Group designed event branding, tickets, invitations, menus, announcement booklets, and a 96pp commemorative event publication.
