Cornel Lucas: Shooting Stars (client: National portrait gallery)

The Deluxe Edition of The English Group's first book 'Shooting Stars' has now almost sold out. This edition of the book has a Foreword written by Lord Puttnam, a 'Personal Perspective' written by Jack Cardiff and and introduction by Cornel Lucas himself, and is accompanied by a second case-bound monograph of Cornel's stills photography on the set of 'The Red Shoes', alongside other studies of ballets shot for The Royal Ballet in the early fifties (including previously unpublished portraits of a young Margot Fonteyn). All copies of the Deluxe Edition are signed by Lord Puttnam, Jack Cardiff and Cornel Lucas. There is also a Limited Edition, single volume version of the book, which is shipped without the monograph, and is signed by Cornel Lucas and Jack Cardiff. Modern Muses By Bryan Adams (client: NPG/Bryan Adams, sponsored by blackberry)

The English Group worked with Bryan Adams, the National Portrait Gallery and project sponsors BlackBerry to create a portfolio of portrait commissions of twenty-one of the most inspiring women in the UK. The English Group designed and produed a large format exhibition monograph featuring all the portraits. The perfect bound monograph was produced in both case-bound and soft-cover editions.

Annual CBI Conference (sponsored by deloitte)

Deloitte was the sponsor of 2005's annual CBI Conference and chose to produce a book of portraits of some of the UK's most renowned business leaders as a commemorative gift to be given to their guests and other attendees at the conference. The book was produced with the title 'Heads Of Business' and illustrates an expanded portfolio of photographic portraits that were on display at the National Portrait Gallery.
