— Morbus Alphabet By Pallavi Gupta

Illustration student Pallavi Gupta’s latest work is her “Morbus Alphabet”. The typographic series is a study of disease and medicine. Each letter is a representation of one of the 26 diseases chosen. An alphabet book for adults, with the same simplicity, but a different kind of visual information.

A major motive behind this concept was to raise awareness about many of these diseases that don’t have  successful treatment options.

The project is interesting, insightful and extremely well executed!

The English Group’s own designer, Alice Taylor, also creates illustrative typefaces and I shall feature some examples of these in a follow-on article (or click here).
