For more than thirty years, Pakistan has one of the largest communities of refugees, hundreds of thousands of Afghans who have fled their country because of the conflicts that have affected him.
According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees about 3.8 million Afghans returned to Afghanistan since 2001, the year of the outbreak of war led by NATO. But almost 1.6 million registered refugees are still in Pakistan, along with another million unregistered Afghans.
