— Leica T701

Leica has officially unveiled the super clean T 701 camera, featuring a CMOS 16.5 megapixel image sensor, WiFi connectivity, interchange lens mount, and a completely button-less rear. Replacing the physical buttons on the rear is a 3.7 inch touchscreen display, while the shutter button and dials on the top have been stripped of any unnecessary details, making for a minimal aluminium body which has been hand-polished for 45 minutes after being milled from a single chunk of material.

The incredible attention-to-detail continues right down to the camera strap, which has been reinvented to click-lock directly into the body without tying and knotting. Release of the aluminium version is due for 26 May, 2014, with the anodized black version following in July.
