— Instagram Instant Perfections

Thailand-based photographer Chompoo Baritone has created a clever series called #slowlife, which shows how Instagram’s heightened reality – false reality? –  can be used to crops scenes and make the user’s life seem perfect, creating an aesthetic by hiding bedroom mess, bad architecture, overgrown gardens, and half-eaten food.

Of course, all photography could be seen as a ‘lie’ in that sense, as it never captures every aspect of a scene, but it’s a fun project none-the-less.
